Courtown Waterworld Ltd is an ambitious community based Company seeking to recruit for a key positions to help develop its adventure and leisure centre complex into one of the leading leisure and tourist attractions in the South East of Ireland. The outdoor adventure activities consist of climbing wall, gravity and junior gravity including aerial trekking, archery, and laser tag games. The complex also has adjacent woodland walks that facilitate 2 orienteering courses. The Leisure Centre consists of a 25 metre pool, training pool, and children’s activity pool together with a health suite (sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi), gym, aerobics hall and weights room.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual with the ability to supervise the day to day running of the existing operation. Strong inter-personal and technical skills required to lead and develop staff. Through the successful operation of the gym the Company’s objective is to increase the existing membership and pay as you go customers. The role requires flexibility with shifts and weekend working. The position reports to the Assistant Manager. Applicants should have at least 3 years experience at Instructor Level and hold relevant gym and fitness qualifications. First Aid experience/ qualification is essential.
Courtown Adventure and Leisure Centre is looking for highly motivated, hard working enthusiastic swimming teachers with the talent to inspire swimmers. The successful candidate will hold Swim Ireland Level 2 teacher qualification or equivalent and child protection course, be a team player with great organisational skills, a proven track record and a great work ethic. The role requires flexibility with shifts and weekend working .The position reports to Assistant Manager
Courtown Waterworld Ltd is an ambitious community based Company seeking a Duty Manager to assist in managing and developing its adventure and leisure centre complex into one of the leading leisure and tourist attractions in the South East of Ireland.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with the ability to lead and manage the existing operation as well as assist in its future development. The position reports to the Assistant Manager.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Sports & Recreational Management, National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification, NCEF or equivalent Fitness Qualification, Occupational First Aid and have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. A competitive salary package is available for the successful candidate.
